Scott Dannheimer Obituary

Shamokin – Scott W. Dannheimer, 53, of 813 Oneida St., passed away at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital after being stricken ill while at the scene of a mobile home fire on First Street in Coal Township on Thursday, December 20, 2018.

Born in Parsippany, NJ on July 18, 1965, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Florence (Dannheimer) Quinn.

Scott was an escort driver for a trucking company.

On August 30, 1991 in Shamokin he married the former Millie Hood, who survives.

He attended Shikellamy High School and was an active member of the Coal Township Fire Department and East End Fire Company where he served as Captain of the Fire Company.  Scott also belonged to Goodwill Fire Company in Sunbury and the Maine and former Fairview Fire Companies in Coal Township.

In addition to his wife he is survived by six sons, Scott Dannheimer Jr., William Dannheimer, Charlie Dannheimer and his wife Tonya of Sunbury; Scott Dannheimer and his fiancé Gracie Oliver of Shamokin; Hunter Dannheimer of Shamokin and Michael Dannheimer and his wife Ally of Shamokin; four daughters, Christina Rose and her husband Larry of Coal Township; Coleen Snyder of Sunbury; Danielle Lebo and her husband Jason of Shamokin and Becca Dannheimer of Sunbury; eight grandsons and nine granddaughters; a brother, Joseph Dannheimer of Shamokin; a sister-in-law Patty Bowen of Selinsgrove; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Hood of Selinsgrove and John Delano and his girlfriend, Nadine of Reading; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Linda Rothrock; a granddaughter, Teresa Lebo and a brother-in-law, Joseph Delano.

 FUNERAL NOTICE

Scott W. Dannheimer, 53, of 813 Oneida Street, Shamokin – Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 West Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, supervisor with Fire Department Chaplain Marty Reigle, officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Visitation will be held in the funeral home Thursday morning from 9:00 until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to East End Fire Company, 25 Sherman Street, Coal Township, PA 17866.  To send condolences to the family please visit www.farrowfh.com
