Coal Township – Rose A. (Seik) Alspach, 93, formerly of 1142 Center Street, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Mountain View Manor in Coal Township.

Born in Marion Heights on February 13, 1929 to the late Leo and Anna (Matey) Seik. She graduated from Kulpmont Roosevelt High School in 1947.

In August 1991 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee she married Allan L. Alspach, who preceded her in death on December 2021. They shared 50 years together and looked forward to yearly trips to the Tennessee area. She worked Quality Control in the Arrow, Cigar, and Shoe Factories.

Rose is survived by a daughter, Debrah Braid of Shillington; two step-sons, Allan Alspach Jr and his wife, Mary, Ronald Alspach; and a step-daughter, Brenda Newman and her husband, Bob; and several nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Diehl and her husband, Ken; and a brother, Robert Seik.
