Ralph G. Boyer

Tamaqua – Ralph G. Boyer, 77, of 713 E. Broad Street, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at his home.

Born in Sunbury on July 24, 1945 he was the son of the late John Henry and Gladys E. (Smith) Boyer. He graduated from Sunbury High School in 1963.

Ralph served in the United States Navy. He worked for over 30 years at the Atlas Powder Company. He was a member of the American Legion.

Ralph is survived by three sons, Glenn Boyer and his fiancé, Jessica Kern of Tamaqua, Christopher Boyer of Tamaqua, and Colin Boyer of Fleetwood; two granddaughters, Amanda and Marah; a sister, Betty Boyer of Northumberland; sister-in-law, Crissie Boyer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a son, Michael Boyer; two brothers, John Boyer and his first wife, Joyce, and his second wife, Anna, and George Boyer; two sisters, Lucille Zartman, and Lydia Boyer; a brother-in-law, Robert Boyer; and nephew, James Boyer.
