Coal Township – Mary Catherine Dudinskie, 76, of 1107 State Route 2026 Sagon, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Medical Center.
Born in Danville on May 20, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Renner) Zellers. She graduated from Danville High School.
On August 31, 1974 in Sagon Union Church she married John M. Dudinskie, Sr., who survives. They spent over 47 years together. She worked as a waitress in numerous restaurants and owned a craft store “Marjon” for several years. Mary was also a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Shamokin.
Some of her hobbies included painting and drawing, browsing yard sales, and playing cards with her friends.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by three daughters, Mary Joy Bryan and her husband Tim of Ephrata, Ruth Anna Bordner and her husband Mike of Leck Kill, and Christina Gervasi and her husband Vincent of Sagon; a son John Dudinskie Jr and his wife Jennifer of KY; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother Paul Zellers and his wife Sally; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Bickel; and a granddaughter, Gabi Gervasi.
Mary Catherine Dudinskie, 76, of 1107 State Route 2026 Coal Township-Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rudy Sheptock, officiating at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Shamokin. Burial will be at Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Viewing will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church.
