Obituary

Coal Township – Lee Kevin Waugh, 64, of 1581 Trevorton Road, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Shamokin on August 2, 1958 he was the son of Lester and Dolores (Barsh) Waugh. He graduated from Coal Township High School in 1977.  He was a member of Holy Trinity Church. He was a bus driver for Shamokin Area School District.

Lee was an avid hunter and enjoyed four-wheeling and riding motorcycles.

Lee is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Mull and her husband, David of Northumberland, and Stacy Yeager of Coal Township; mother, Dolores Waugh of Coal Township; brother, Richard Waugh of Shamokin; grandson, Shen Yeager; two granddaughters, Freyja Yeager and Adily Mull; and a granddaughter on the way. Lee was preceded in death by his father.

 

FUNERAL NOTICE

Lee Kevin Waugh, 64, of 1581 Trevorton Road, Coal Township – Graveside service will be held Friday, January 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Joan Brown, officiating at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Coal Township. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
