Shamokin – Kay Arlene (Edwards) Candelora, of 1009 East Race Street, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Nottingham Village.
Born December 16, 1937 she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Carter) Edwards. Kay attended Shamokin schools.
Kay married Michael A. Candelora who preceded her in death. She worked at Arrow Shirt Factory as a seamstress, and later worked at the Department of Public Welfare in Shamokin as a caseworker. Kay was a member of the Chestnut Street Methodist Church.
Kay is survived by one son, Michael J. Candelora, of Nevada; and one grandson, Joel Candelora, of Nevada.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Kay is preceded in death by her son, Lester Candelora.
Kay Arlene Candelora, 83, of 1009 East Race Street, Shamokin – Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J.
