Henrietta C. (Yocum) Williams

Paxinos – Henrietta C. Williams, 87, of 1979 Old Reading Road, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on April 23, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Henry Alberta (Batman) Yocum. She graduated from Shamokin High School in 1952.

On February 9, 1957 in Paxinos she married Dail Williams, who survives. She retired from Wilson Manufacturing as a purchasing agent. She was a member of Ash Grove United Methodist Church.

Henrietta was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother, her biggest smiles were always for her granddaughters, Krista and Shayna. We are all going to miss you Mommom! Henrietta loved her chocolate, nature, and God.. not necessarily in that order.

In addition to her husband, Henrietta is survived by two daughters, Beth Zoller and her husband, Jay of NJ, and Amy Williams of Shamokin; two granddaughters, Krista Zoller, and Shayna Zoller-Dillane and her husband, Matthew; a sister, Dorothy Welliver of DE; a brother, John Yocum and his wife, Diane of Sunbury; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Samuel and Helen (Epler) Williams; a sister, Phyllis Shuman and her husband, Harry; and a brother-in-law, Thomas Welliver.

Henrietta C. Williams, 87, of 1979 Old Reading Road, Paxinos- Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Ash Grove United Methodist Church, 196 Lilac Rd, Paxinos, with Reverend Barbara Welsh, officiating. Arrangements are being cared for by Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
