Debbi J (Dilliplane) Wolfe

Marion Heights – Debbi J. Wolfe, 62, of 437 E Melrose Street, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 in her home.

Born in Long Branch, NJ, on October 20, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Perry and Martha (Henninger) Dilliplane. She graduated from Shamokin High School in 1977. She graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelors of Art.

On April 17, 1999 in Coal Township, she married Michael A. Wolfe, who survives. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Coal Township. She was a high school teacher at Line Mountain school district.

Debbi loved to journal, and had a passion for cooking. She dedicated the last several years teaching English as a second language online. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her 1977 classmates. Debbi’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and her Irish setters.

In addition to her husband, Debbi is survived by a daughter, Mallory Fisher and her partner, Christopher Brown of Philadelphia; two sons, Brian Daniel Fisher of Philadelphia, and Devon Fisher and his partner, Brianna Smith of Hilltown; a sister, Darlis Tasker of Coal Township; her dog, an Irish setter, Keiran, and her Irish Doodle, Callie; two brothers-in-law, David Wolfe and his wife, Judy of Shamokin, and Scott Wolfe and his wife, Georgia of Catasauqua; two nephews, Rich Tasker, and David Wolfe; a great nephew, Channing Tasker; a great niece, Sutton Tasker; as well as many beloved aunts, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Debbi was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Dilliplane; father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Robert and Clara Nancy (Brightbill) Wolfe; Brother-in-law, James Valania; and her Irish setter dog, Kylie.
