Catherine Lynn Brown

Shamokin – Catherine Lynn Brown, 55, of 20 N. 7th Street, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Sunbury on January 2, 1968 she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Judith (Heller) Brown.

Catherine is survived by a brother, Scott Whitmer and his wife, Kathy of Shamokin; two sisters, Crystal Hassinger and her husband, Dennis of Sunbury, and Penny Buck of Danville; a brother-in-law, Jack Yarger of Penns Creek; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Yarger.

Catherine Lynn Brown, 55, of 20 N. 7th Street, Shamokin – Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, PA, 17872, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
