Shamokin – Bobbie Jo Bower, 55, of Shamokin, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital. She fought a hard battle with brain cancer for 9 long months.
Born on May 13, 1968 in Sunbury to the late Luther and Goldie (Neidig) Reigle. She attended Sunbury and Shamokin Area Schools.
She married Dale Bower, who preceded her in death. She worked at Great Dane as an assembler for many years. Bobbie Jo was a longtime member of the Redmen Club and Pastime Club, along with other clubs throughout Shamokin. BobbieJo was a avid Gamer. She enjoyed all games especially Playstation. She was a super pool player. Eight on the break. She also enjoyed golf and kayaking
In addition to her mother, Bobbie Jo is survived by a son, Dale Bower; two daughters, Brandi Smink and her husband, Jared of Northumberland, and Christina Auman and her husband, Robert of Shamokin; two grandsons, Gabrial Koppenhaver, and Liam Koppenhaver; four granddaughters, Jaelynn Lutcher, Rowan Campbell, Amity Haley, and Rayah Bower; three brothers, Bruce Reigle and his wife, Carol of Shamokin, Timothy Reigle and his wife, Amy of Sunbury, and Garry Reigle and his wife, Elizabeth of Snydertown; Friend and Roommate of 20 years, Debra Troutman; two cats, Rio and Belle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and Debra Troutman’s Family, who she was also very close with, Debra’s mother, Babe Troutman; and Debra’s two brothers, James Troutman and his wife, Toni, Rod Troutman and his wife, Dawn, and their sons and daughters. In addition, her husband and father, Bobbie Jo was preceded in death by two sisters, (Infant) Christina Reigle, and Crystal Reigle; and two brothers, (Infant) Joseph Reigle, and Randy Reigle.
Bobbie Jo Bower, 55, of Shamokin – Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 at 7 PM with a time of sharing, at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Pennsylvania, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
