William James Strausser

Philadelphia – William James Strausser, 59, of 5959 Elsinore Street, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his residence.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ on February 25, 1967 to John R. and Joyce M. (Reed) Strausser. He graduated Shamokin Area High School in 1985. He attended Penn State Hazelton and State College. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

William is survived by his father, John R. Strausser; a sister, Ann Cress of Coal Township; two brothers, Ed R. Strausser and his wife, Bernadette of Shamokin, and John E. Strausser, Shamokin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. William was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce M. (Reed) Strausser.
