Coal Township – Sharon G. Machado, 65, of 1633 Tioga Street, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Shamokin.

Born in the Bronx, New York, on January 7, 1961, to the late Paul and Dorothy (Mason) D’Agostino. Sharon attended school in New York.

In New York, on July 29, 1985, Sharon married John F. Machado.

Sharon was a wife a mother and sister and Aunt. She was outspoken, Funny, Strong willed. She was the Heart of the family. She was the one you went to when you needed help, she would drop anything and help you out. She loved her family with all her heart.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by a daughter, Krystel Schultz, and her husband Michael of Coal Township; 5 brothers, Joseph D’Agostino and his wife Shirley of New York, JJ D’Agostino of New York, Tommy D’Agostino of New York, Jimmy D’Agostino of New York, and Vinnie D’Agostino of New York; 2 sisters, Toni D’Agostino Smith of New York, Gina D’Agostino of New York , Late Sisters Angela D’Agostion, Paula D’Agostino Lettley; mother-in-law, Patricia Machado of Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
