Rose Fairweather, 92, of 925 N Orange Street, Shamokin, passed away May 17, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Shamokin on December 23, 1932 to the late Giuseppe and Mary (Cussary) Coroniti. May 1953 Rose married George Zablosky, who preceded her in death in 1972. October 1979, she married Joseph Fairweather, who preceded her in death in 2022.
Rose enjoyed volunteering at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital. She helped raise money to build the gazebo and brick sidewalk at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital. She had a knack for crafting and loved to bake.
Rose is survived by two sons, Martin Zablosky of Shamokin, and David Zablosky and his wife, Terry of Philadelphia; a grandson, Colby Bartlett; a granddaughter, Crystal Carl; and a sister, Connie Karpinski. In addition to her husbands and parents, Rose was preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Reck and her husband, Francis, Anna Garancosky and her husband, George, Josephine Brennan and her husband, Richard, and Catherine Buzzie and her husband, Thomas; a brother, Anthony Coroniti; and a brother-in-law, Leon Karpinski.
