Reese Richard Elliott, Sr.

Coal Township – Reese Richard Elliott, Sr., 69, of Coal Township, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Watsontown Nursing & Rehab, Watsontown.

Born in Shamokin on October 26, 1956 to the late Dal Tyson and Faye Arlene (Reed) Elliott. He graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1974. He was a member of the Fairview Gun Club, and the Trails End Gun Club.

Reese is survived by a daughter, Julianne Elliott of Coal Township; a son, Reese Elliott, Jr., and his wife, Stephanie of Coal Township; two grandsons, Myles Elliott, and Max Elliott; the mother of his children, Diane Elliott; four brothers, Barry Elliott, Randy Elliott and his fiancé, Sandy, Timothy Elliott and his wife, Cindy, and Brian Elliott and his wife, Alisha; two sisters, Betty Jane Madara, and Bonnie Johnson and her husband, Andy; a sister-in-law, Margaret Elliott; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Reese was preceded in death by three brothers, Rodger Elliott, Dal Elliott, and Kenneth Elliott and his wife, Michelle; a brother-in-law, Claude Madara; a sister-in-law, Ann Elliott.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Reese Richard Elliott, Sr., 69, Coal Township – Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 11:00 am with Celebrant Abigail Campbell, officiating, at Farrow-Campbell Funeral & Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, PA, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Burial will be held following the service at Fairview Gun Club, Coal Township.
