Kay Libby Major

Sunbury - Kay Libby Major, 86, formerly of Paxinos, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Cedar Haven Healthcare, Lebanon.

Born on July 22, 1939 in Wilson Boro, to the late Arthur M. and Beatrice (Libby) Binner. She graduated Easton High School in 1957.

On July 26, 1969 in Gouldsboro, PA, she married Milton F. Major, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member of Ash Grove UMC.

She worked as a Telephone Operator for Bell Telephone. Kay was a member of Eastern Star, Sunbury, and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1532 Ladies Auxiliary Sunbury.

Kay is survived by a daughter, Helen Lytle; a granddaughter, Abbey Lytle; a grandson, Nathan Lytle; and a sister, Olive Stoops and her husband, Donald of New Bloomfield; and several Nieces, and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Farrow-Campbell Funeral & Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
