Glenn Lee Weikel

Glenn L. Weikel, 75, of Coal Township, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born at home in Pitman on April 4, 1951 to the late Marlin L. and Irene M. (Wehry) Weikel. In 1969 he graduated from Tri Valley High School, Hegins. He received an Associates Degree in Electronics from Williamsport Area Community College.

On May 10, 1980 he married Bessie Mae Kabonick, who survives. Glenn owned and operated Nature’s Health Food Centre, Shamokin. He liked to garden, hunt, and enjoyed being in nature.

In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Weikel and her husband, Phil McIntyre, Amy Weikel, and Kristen Weikel; three sisters, Betty Wiest and her husband, Les, Mary Inch, and Lois Laboskie and her husband, Gregg; two brothers, Randy Weikel and his wife, Lisa, and Rick Weikel and his wife, Veronica; three sisters-in-law, Cindy Kabonick, Bonnie Kabonick, and Bonnie Kabonick, wife of Edward Kabonick; a brother-in-law, Ronald Kabonick and his wife, Lisa; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Zimmerman and Nancy Hatter; a sister-in-law, Judy Long; and three brothers-in-law, Edward, Rick, and Ken Kabonick.

Glenn L. Weikel, 75, Coal Township – Visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Coal Township. Arrangements are being handled by Farrow-Campbell Funeral & Cremation Service, 240 W Chestnut Street, Shamokin, PA, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor.
