Shamokin – William T. Stump Sr., 76, of 1015 East Race Street, passed away December 9, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on February 8, 1942 in Lick Creek, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charlie and Ethel Stump. He worked as a laborer for the sanitation department.
William is survived by three daughters, Fran Kuminski of Shamokin, Catherine Snyder and her husband Joseph of Shamokin, and Nicole Campbell of Coal Township; a son, William T. Stump Jr. and his wife Mabel of Shamokin; two grandsons, Billy Stump and his wife Mandy of Maryland, and Ashton Seedor of Shamokin; five granddaughters, Kristina Wyland of Coal Township, Jenna Healey and her husband David of Shamokin, Alyssa Taylor of Shamokin, Danielle Stump of Coal Township, and Lynnsey Seedor of Shamokin; ten great-grandchildren, Brionna and Alexis Wyland, Nathan, Kayden, and one on the way Healey, Zayden and Hazel Wheary, Hailey and Karley McCormick, and Connor Ebeckie; seven brothers, Frank Stump, Jake Stump, David Stump, Landon Stump, Norman Stump, Terry Stump, and Richard Stump; a sister, Frances “Sue”; a grand-dog Violet; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elden Stump, Donny Stump, and James Stump; and one sister, Daisy.

Chestnut Street, Shamokin, Lori Ann Campbell, Supervisor. Burial will be held in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Viewing will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 am in the Farrow-C.J.
