Sharon L. (Moss) Klees

Coal Township – Sharon L. Klees, 76, of 1311 West Fern Street, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

Born in Buffalo, NY on June 25, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Dean A. and Effie L. (Percy) Moss.

She was employed as a laborer in a shoe factory as well as a laborer at a Chicken Hatchery.

She was married in 1996 in Lewisburg to the late Robert L. Klees, who preceded her in death on October 3, 2010.

She attended Warrior Run High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milton.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Beaver and her husband Thomas of Turbotville; two sons, Kevin Schaeffer and his wife Joyce of Watsontown and Freeman Schaeffer of Coal Township; five granddaughters, Megan Bastian of White Deer Pike, Brandy Savidge and her husband Kurt of Muncy, Robin Hummel and her husband Jason of Muncy, Leigh Schaeffer of Womelsdorf and Heidi Schaeffer of Womelsdorf; three grandsons, Steven Beaver of Turbotville; Christopher Schaeffer and his wife Victoria of FL and  Zachary Schaeffer of Watsontown; six great granddaughters and five great grandsons; one brother, Dean Moss Jr. and his wife Rose of CT; as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers.

Sharon L. Klees, 76, of 1311 West Fern Street, Coal Township – Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the First Baptist Church, 316 Golf Course Rd, Milton. Burial will be held at ehe convenience of the family. Farrow-C.J.
